WHAT IS KETOPASTA™?

KETOPASTA™ is a guilt-free alternative to standard pasta. It has a considerably low calorie and carbohydrate count while being fat and sugar free. It is made from natural ingredients that combine to make KETOPASTA™ look and taste like normal pasta making it ideal in a variety of dishes in place of spaghetti or noodles. It will also go great in your favourite stir-fry!

KETOPASTA™ substitutes wheat flour for a natural blend of organic Konjac vegetable flour and organic oat fibre (0g gluten). Konjac foods, a staple in Japan, are famous for their low calorie count, reduced carbohydrates and high fibre content.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO COOK KETOPASTA™?

KETOPASTA™ is pre-cooked pasta making it simple and fast to prepare! All you have to do is tear the pack open, empty the low carb pasta into a colander or sieve and rinse with water. Once you have done this the pasta only needs to be heated.

How the pasta is heated depends on what dish you are making.

If you are putting it in a stir-fry just add it at the end, if you are using it as pasta with a separate sauce just add it to boiling water for a few seconds before serving.

The back of the pack suggests the pasta be cooked for one minute but this is not necessary. The more the pasta is cooked the firmer it becomes so some recipes will be better with a more al dente pasta style while some recipes will be better with softer pasta.

 

KETOPASTA™ VS REGULAR PASTA

KETOPASTA™ is very similar to wheat pasta in colour and texture. KETOPASTA™ takes on any flavour you add to it!

KETOPASTA™ gets firmer the more heat that is applied to it - so the softer you want your pasta, the less it needs to be heated!

 

IS KETOPASTA™ OK FOR MY GLUTEN FREE DIET?

KETOPASTA™ contains no detectable gluten. It does include organic oat fibre. Some people who are gluten intolerant or coeliac are advised not to eat oat products.

Oat products used to be regularly processed on the same equipment as wheat products, risking cross contamination. The oat fibre used in our products has no detectable gluten but we recommend consulting a health professional if you are gluten sensitive and wish to try KETOPASTA™.

 

WHO CAN EAT KETOPASTA™?

KETOPASTA™ is perfect for competition preparation or if you are on a restricted/low macro diet. It is also rated at 0g gluten so it is great for people on gluten free diets.
